Uganda and Tanzania Safari For Women

Duration: 17 Days / 16 Nights

Our 17 days trip brings you the best of Uganda and Tanzania; where the savannah meets the rainforest. Expect to see the Big 5 and the other big game on the savannahs and up to 15 primate species, including gorillas and chimps!!!

This trip includes the most important and well known national parks of Uganda and Tanzania: Kibale Forest, Queen Elizabeth National Park, Bwindi National Park, the Ngorongoro Crater, Serengeti National Park and Lake Manyara National Park.

We start in Kibale Forest in Uganda. This beautiful jungle has the highest concentration of monkeys and is home to 13 primate species, including chimpanzees. Second stop we make is Queen Elizabeth National Park. In Queen Elizabeth we make a unique boat trip on the Kazinga Channel. Expect to see elephants, buffaloes, hippos and many bird species. Queen Elizabeth is also home to the famous tree climbing lions in Ishasha. Highlight of the jungle is a meeting with the Mountain Gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable. An experience you will never forget. After a beautiful day in Lake Mburo National Park drive back to EnteFBe for your flight to Tanzania.

The first national park we visit in Tanzania is Lake Manyara, one of Tanzania’s most dramatically located wildlife areas, consisting of a shallow but huge soda lake, located at the foot of the Great Rift Valley‘s western escarpment. This park is famous for its tree-climbing lions. After that, we go to the Ngorongoro Crater, featuring one of the highest concentrations of game and arguably the densest population of predators and carnivores in Africa. This safari will also take you to the Serengeti, a massive wilderness of 14500 square km, where every day brings a new landscape.

When to Go

This safari circuit is best visited during the east African dry season, which spans roughly from June – October and January – February annually. In recent years, the dry seasons have been increasing in length due to the effects of climate change, so there is some flexibility with these months if necessary. During this period, guests will experience the best game viewing in the spare and dry bush. Furthermore, the climb through Bwindi Impenetrable Forest will be the most pleasant – and dry – during this time. While this is the high season for tourism, the parks visited are generally quiet year round and crowds will not be a major concern.

If however you have chosen this package in order to experience lush landscapes and rich birdlife – and do not mind sporadic daily rain showers – you may be happier during the rainy season.
